iKandu app for iPhone and iPad

iKandu is a family communication platform enabling parents and children to complete the many daily tasks required for a happy family. Parents are busy working and often challenged getting kids to do daily tasks such as homework, chores, music practice, sports drills and personal hygiene. Kids need daily structure and a feeling of achievement. Kids also want recognition and reward for the things they do. iKandu is a mobile and web app designed to easily enable assignment of daily tasks from parent to child while also providing the child with a sense of achievement, recognition and reward after completing each task. Kids have their own interface with iKandu and easily check off the daily tasks as they are completed and they immediately see the points earned. Kids get to push a wish list to their parents such as a sleepover, movie, a toy or whatever. Parents approve and assign number of points required to earn the wish list items. Parents have a real-time dashboard with live updates to view individual progress of their kids. Together they can communicate with each other via text within the iKandu app.
